The probability engine

CountVision does not use a fixed lookup table alone. It recomputes the dealer outcome distribution from the cards that actually remain in the shoe, then compares the expected value of each available action.

What is calculated

  • Probability of busting if you hit
  • Probability of drawing selected card-value categories
  • Estimated dealer bust probability
  • Estimated win, loss and push probabilities
  • Expected value of each available action
  • Difference between the best and second-best decision
  • Recognition confidence
  • Calculation timestamp

Close decisions

When two actions have similar expected values, the recommendation is labelled a close decision rather than presented as certainty. The margin is always shown.

Decision inputs

  • Player hand composition
  • Dealer up-card
  • Hard, soft or paired hand
  • Table rules
  • Cards remaining
  • True count
  • Basic strategy
  • Count-based deviations
  • Comparative expected value

Educational estimates

Probabilities are educational estimates. They do not guarantee a particular card, outcome or financial result.
