Methodology

Counting systems

Each counting system declares its card values, whether it is balanced, its true-count requirements, its supported strategy indices and its learning exercises. No counting system guarantees winnings.

Available now: Hi-Lo

A balanced level-one system. Low cards (2-6) count +1, neutral cards (7-9) count 0, tens and aces count -1. The running count is divided by the estimated decks remaining to produce the true count.

Architected for later release

  • KO (Knock-Out) — unbalanced, no true-count conversion
  • Omega II — level two, balanced
  • Hi-Opt I — balanced with an ace side count
  • Hi-Opt II — level two, higher playing efficiency
  • Zen Count — level two, balanced
